At BSV by MADintel, accessible from BrandSocialValue.com (the “Site” and the “Platform”), one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors and customers. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we may share it, and the choices you have.

This Privacy Policy applies only to our online activities and to visitors and registered users with respect to information collected on or through BrandSocialValue.com and related web applications. This policy does not apply to any information collected offline or via channels other than this website and Platform.
By using our website or Platform, you hereby consent to this Privacy Policy and agree to its terms.
- INFORMATION WE COLLECT
The personal and usage information that you are asked to provide, and the reasons why you are asked to provide it, will be made clear to you at the point we ask you to provide such information.
We may collect and process the following categories of information:
1.1. Information you provide directly
- Contact details: name, email address, phone number, job title, company name, and postal address.
- Account information: username, password, profile details, and account preferences.
- Billing details: billing address, tax information, and limited payment-related information (see “Payments” below).
- Communications: the contents of messages, emails, support tickets, and any attachments you may send to us.
- Survey and form responses: answers to surveys, feedback forms, and research questionnaires you complete on or through the Platform.
1.2. Brand personas, social media content, and other marketing content you upload
As part of using BSV by MADintel, you may upload, enter, or connect:
- Brand persona data and audience segments you create or configure on the Platform.
- Social media posts, ad creatives, captions, images, videos, and other marketing content (“Marketing Content”) you upload, paste, or connect via third-party integrations.
- Brand-level settings (e.g., brand guidelines, value dimensions, tone of voice) and metadata (e.g., campaign names, labels, tags).
You remain the owner of this content (see “How we use your information” and “Model training and analytics” below). We can see the content in order to provide, maintain, and improve the service, but we will not share your specific social media content or your specific brand personas with other clients.
1.3. Information collected automatically (log and device data)
When you visit or use the Site or Platform, we automatically collect certain information, including:
- IP address and approximate location (based on IP).
- Browser type, device type, operating system, and device identifiers.
- Internet Service Provider (ISP).
- Date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and clickstream data.
- Session information (e.g., pages viewed, features used, time spent on pages).
These log files are used for analyzing trends, administering the Site and Platform, tracking users’ movement on the website, securing the service, and gathering demographic and usage information. These data are not directly linked to personally identifiable information unless needed for security, fraud prevention, or account management.
1.4. Comments
When visitors leave comments on the Site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to check whether you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available at https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture (if any) may be visible to the public in the context of your comment.
1.5. Media
If you upload images to the website or Platform, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
- COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES
Like many websites, BSV uses cookies and similar technologies (such as web beacons and pixels) to store information including visitors’ preferences and the pages on the website that visitors access or visit. We use this information to:
- Remember your preferences and login status.
- Improve and personalize your experience.

- Process transactions, manage subscriptions, and provide billing and account-related services.

- Understand and analyze how you use our Site and Platform.
- Develop new products, services, features, and functionality.
- Communicate with you directly or through service providers for customer support, onboarding, updates, security alerts, and marketing (where permitted by law).
- Send you transactional emails (account notifications, password reset emails, billing receipts, etc.).
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and other harmful activity.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms and Conditions.
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email to help prevent abuse.
- CONTENT YOU PROVIDE: BRAND PERSONAS AND SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT
4.1. Visibility and use
- Any brand personas, survey responses, and social media content you upload or connect to the Platform are used to provide and improve our analytics and recommendations to you.
- Our team may view this content for support, troubleshooting, quality assurance, and to improve our models and services.
- We do not share your specific social media posts, campaigns, or brand personas with other clients in a way that would allow them to identify your brand’s proprietary strategies or content.
4.2. Ownership
- You retain all ownership rights in your brand personas, marketing content, and other proprietary materials you upload.
- We do not claim ownership over this content.
- You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, and analyze this content solely for:
- providing the BSV services to you,
- maintaining and improving the Platform, and
- training and refining our models (see below), subject to the aggregation and de-identification practices described.
4.3. Model training and analytics
- We may use data derived from your content (for example, scores, labels, and patterns) in anonymized and/or aggregated form to train and improve our algorithms and predictive models.
- When we use your data for model training or benchmarking, we will do so in a way that does not disclose your specific content, campaigns, or brand personas to other clients.
- Aggregated statistics and benchmarks (e.g., “average sentiment of brands in category X”) may be shared with other customers or in external reports, but without identifying you or revealing confidential campaign content.
- CLIENT NAMES AND LOGOS
We may use your company’s name and logo to identify you as a customer of BSV by MADintel (for example, on our website, pitch decks, or other marketing materials), consistent with our Terms and Conditions or your written agreement with us.
This does not give us ownership over your content and is limited to identification and marketing purposes.
- THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND INTEGRATIONS
We use third-party service providers to help us operate and deliver the Platform, including:
- Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers.
- Email and communication tools.
- Analytics and logging services.
- Payment processors such as Stripe and PayPal.
- Security and malware scanning services.
These service providers may process personal data on our behalf and are contractually required to protect your information and use it only for the services they provide to us.
If you connect third-party accounts (e.g., social media platforms) to BSV, you authorize us to access data from those platforms as described at the time of connection and in accordance with those platforms’ own privacy policies. You can disconnect such integrations at any time within the Platform or in the respective third-party settings.
- THIRD-PARTY PRIVACY POLICIES
BSV by MADintel’s Privacy Policy does not apply to other websites or services that we do not control, including:
- Third-party websites you may access via links.
- Third-party platforms whose content is embedded on our Site.
- Third-party social media or advertising platforms you choose to use.
We encourage you to review the privacy policies of those third parties for more detailed information, including how to opt out of certain processing.
You can also control cookies and trackers through your browser settings.
- EMBEDDED CONTENT FROM OTHER WEBSITES
Articles on this Site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in exactly the same way as if you visited the other website directly.
These external websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with the embedded content (including tracking your interaction if you have an account and are logged in to that website). We do not control these websites and are not responsible for their privacy practices.
- E-COMMERCE / WOOCOMMERCE INFORMATION
We collect information about you during the checkout process at our store (if and when e-commerce is enabled).
While you visit our site, we may track:
- Products or services you’ve viewed (for example, to show you recently viewed items).
- Location, IP address, and browser type (for purposes like tax estimation and security).
- Shipping address (to estimate shipping before you place an order and to deliver the order).
We also use cookies to keep track of cart contents while you’re browsing our site.
When you purchase from us, we may ask you to provide:
- Name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number.
- Payment details (handled by payment providers as described below).

- PAYMENTS
We use third-party payment processors to handle payments securely. This currently includes Stripe and PayPal.
- When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to Stripe and/or PayPal, including information needed to process or support the payment, such as purchase total, billing information, and minimal identifying information.
- We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.

- SECURITY LOGS AND MALWARE SCANNING
To protect the Site and Platform from malicious activity, we may log:
- IP addresses of visitors.
- User IDs of logged-in users.
- Usernames used in login attempts.
- Requests for suspicious URLs, changes to site content, and password updates.
This information is used to detect and block malicious activity and is typically retained for a limited period (for example, 60 days), unless needed for security investigations.
The Site may be scanned periodically for potential malware and vulnerabilities by security tools such as iThemes Site Scanner. We do not intentionally send personal information to the scanner, but it may detect publicly visible information (e.g., in comments or public content) as part of its operation.
- DATA RETENTION
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to:
- Provide the services and fulfill the purposes described in this Policy.
- Comply with legal, tax, and accounting requirements.
- Resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
In general:
- Account data is kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period after closure (for example, to address billing or legal issues).

13.1. Access, correction, and deletion
If you have an account, you can view and update many aspects of your personal information through your account settings.
You may also contact us to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal and contractual limits.
- Request an exported file of your personal data that we hold.
13.2. GDPR data protection rights (EEA/UK users)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the UK, you have the following rights (subject to conditions and local law):
- The right of access – request copies of your personal data.
- The right to rectification – request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- The right to erasure – request deletion of your personal data, under certain conditions.

13.3. CCPA / CPRA rights (California consumers)
If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the CPRA, including:

- The right to request deletion of personal data, subject to certain exceptions.
- The right to correct inaccurate personal information.
- The right to opt out of certain types of data sharing considered a “sale” or “sharing” under California law (we do not currently sell personal information in the traditional sense).

At this time, we do not sell personal information as “sell” is defined under the CCPA/CPRA.
- INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
Our Site and Platform are hosted in the United States. If you access the Site from the European Union, the UK, or other regions with laws governing data collection and use, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other jurisdictions where our service providers are located.
We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards for such transfers, for example through data processing agreements and, where applicable, standard contractual clauses.
- CHILDREN’S INFORMATION
Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.
BSV by MADintel does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information (PII) from children under the age of 13. If you believe that your child has provided such information on our website or Platform, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately. We will use our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records in accordance with applicable law, including the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
Individuals under 18 may only use the Platform with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. The Platform is not intended for use by children under 13.
- DATA SECURITY
We implement a variety of administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include:
- Secure server hosting and encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/SSL).
- Access controls and authentication requirements for administrative tools.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for restricting access to your devices.
- DATA STORAGE AND BACKUPS
We store data on secure servers through reputable hosting providers. These may be located in the United States or in other jurisdictions, depending on the infrastructure used.
- We perform regular backups to prevent accidental loss.
- Backups may include encrypted versions of brand personas, campaign content, activity logs, and user account information.
- Backups are overwritten on a rolling basis and retained only for operational and security purposes.
We may retain anonymized or aggregated data indefinitely to improve services, conduct research, train models, and compile insights, but such data will not identify you personally.
- AUTOMATED DECISION-MAKING AND PROFILING
BSV’s core technology includes algorithmic evaluations, predictive analytics, and automated scoring of:
- Brand personas
- Audience alignment
- Social media content performance
- Values alignment and sentiment analysis
- Marketing message effects and campaign recommendations
Automated systems help generate predictions, insights, and recommendations for your brand. These systems do not make legally binding decisions about you, nor are they used for credit, employment, or housing decisions.
You may contact us to request:
- An explanation of certain automated decisions
- Human review, where required by law
- The ability to correct or update data that could affect automated outputs
- “DO NOT TRACK” (DNT) SIGNALS
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” feature.
At this time, the Site:
- Does not respond to DNT signals,
- But we respect legally required opt-outs under CCPA/CPRA and GDPR,
- And provide mechanisms to disable cookies through browser settings.
As industry standards evolve, we may update our practices.
